With David Gold West Ham Chairman giving the main talk about his start in business and West Ham's move to the Olympic Stadium.

Very informative and entertaining meeting as well as a good networking event.

Approached to do several bookings with one being at West Ham United.

Barry Hicks attended Blackpool Magicians Convention 18th,19th, 20th February 2011

After a late night Thursday at the Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, travelled Friday morning to Blackpool for the Blackpool Magicians Convention. This year included the FISM European championships which made the weekend different from the normal frenetic weekend. Much more time to enjoy the shows or lectures and dealers trade fair. Enjoyed the weekend and meeting many old friends and making new ones.

A good evening - performed close up magic

with 12 Close Up Magicians from Ilford Magical Society in the first part of the evening.

Unfortunately had to leve at 9.00pm as had another comittment but understand the rest of the evening went very well with 4 magic stage acts , jugglers and dancers . Understand all profits from the evening going to the British Liver Trust

The site dedicated to promoting Havering's Retail Leisure and Hospitality Business for the Olympic 2012 Period. Much was discussed to improve the Web Site and get more companies to sign up and involve the Havering Business Community

Was invited yesterday and pleased I went - Met some prospective clients espeically in the event and entertainment field plus a possible booking next week. Was asked to do a trick in the lift - One way of going up in the world!!!
