yesterday their first Wedding Fair in recent times.

A really quality Wedding Fair with recommended local suppliers and for the first attempt was

a really good effort. There was a steady stream of couples during the day

who showed a lot of interest in the suppliers exhibiting.

Many of us took some provisional bookings and actual bookings and look forward to exhibing at their next Wedding Fair.

Looking forward to the Wedding Fair this Sunday 30th January especially seeing as many local couples who will get the chance to see their local quality suppliers and the venue plus I understand to win some raffle prizes donated by the suppliers.

Barry Hicks Essex Close Up Magician attended Countdown to the 2012 Olympic Games East London Business Network Event Tuesday 25th January 2011

Barry attended the Countdown to the 2011 Games Networking Event on Tuesday 25th January 2011 at Dagenham & Redbridge F.C. There was a large turnout and I would guess 200 to 250 people and there were

presentations re London 2012 and Compete For Update which was very enlightening also a Living The Dream Charity Presentation which involved two young athletes and their training for the games. A very worthwhile charity which needs the support of local business's and local people.

There was also a question and answer session

re Compete For facilitated by Mark Kass of the

East London Business Centre. On a personal note I made some useful contacts which may lead to some interesting projects in the future.

Barry Hicks attended Woolston Manor Wedding Fair, Chigwell, yesterday and and spoke to many future Brides & Grooms.

There was a lot of interest in booking a close up magician for their wedding even for several weddings abroad.

Also met many Wedding Suppliers I have previously worked with and it was nice to have DJ Clay's Disco next to me as professional as ever.

part of the Ilford Magical Society Show
on the 15th January 2011 to help raise funds for the Church Hall. I did close up magic at the tables as well as 4 other magicians which was well received by the audience.
This was followed by a cabaret show with 3 acts participating.
A good night was had by all
